About Me

I am a 2012 Teach For America corps member in the Greater Lawrence area.  I currently teach K1 which is a classroom where students enter at 4 years old.  Although, this would be considered Pre-K our work is more similar to kindergarten.  My students are 100% ELL and they are super intelligent.  I am going to be devastated when they go on to K2.  My first babies are officially in K2 and I am oh so sad! This is my first year teaching  Moving into my second year and I know it will be the most challenging, joyful, emotional, stressful, and rewarding time thus far.  I truly enjoy what I do and I would love to give you a sneak peek into my world.
